Awesome blog! Very handy mapping… how did you get your GPS to record onto Google Maps? Thanks!
Thanks! For the GPS Tracks, I just import the track as a GPX file from the GPS (Via Basecamp for my Garmin GPS, or just copy via USB for my Delorme GPS), upload the GPX to the web server. This blog is built on WordPress and the following WordPress plugin (XML-Google-Maps) allows you to automatically display a Google Maps map of the track when a GPX link is added to a WordPress post:

The peak lists are done the same way, only the peaks are added to a folder in Google Earth, then the folder exported as a KMZ. XML-Google-Maps will display a KMZ file link the same way as a GPX.
The plugin is very customizable and works great!
Happy hiking!
